Buku Festival

Being that my work life and personal life sometimes collide in a heavy world championship match up at times, I decided consciously with little down time to get some much needed "me time". What better place than my home town New Orleans!? It just so happened that Award Season ended with a bang conveniently a few weeks before my birthday (woot woot Water Signs) which also happened to be in the same neighborhood of scheduling with Buku Festival in New Orleans. Last year I went and had a mind blowing experience with heavy vibes and crazy southern free spirit energy which I often need in survival mod of life.
This year, BUKU Festival invited me to the festivities and the experience was x10202820430 then last year. And honestly, I do not know which part was better. Between the reassuring vibes of southern folks who have hospitality vibes instilled in them versus the energy that is truly unexplainable of the 3rd dimension earthy Louisiana products and materials that were displayed throughout the infamous Mardi Gras world, which is where most of the Mardi Gras floats and balls are held each year. There were different stages set up where artist Kehlani, Future, SNBRN, Mike Snow, Kid Cudi, Chvrches, Post Malone and countless others hit the stage and blew the crowd away. I def will be in attendance front and center for next year. BUKU will always be my favorite music festival of festival season.
